OKLAND CONSTRUCTION Electrical Project Manager in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah

ELECTRICAL PROJECT MANAGER

 

POSITION SUMMARY

Okland is now seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team on a large-scale, cutting-edge new semiconductor facilities construction project. This positionwill be responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and budgeting the activities concerned with the electrical focuses of our projects andwill collaborate closely with internal and external team members including consultants, A/E professionals, owners, and trade partners while continually striving to elevate the construction process through creating remarkable experiences for all involved. This position requires experience in electrical equipment installation and base build projects. Semiconductor experience preferred, but not required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for ensuring that the project is completed on-time, within budget, and constructed with superior quality and safety.

  • Management and oversight of Electrical construction trades, while working closely with the MEP Project Manager, MEP Superintendent, and Electrical Superintendent.

  • Supervision and coordination of subcontractors' field installations.

  • Identify project objectives and milestones; monitor the development and implementation of the necessary processes and procedures, action plans, schedules, and budgets.

  • Review design and construction bid packages.

  • Coordinating with inspectors and other trades to ensure that work plans and quality standards are being met.

  • Provide input on facility design and constructability.

  • Reviews RFI's, ASI's, CCD's, etc., with the project team to ensure that answers are received in a timely manner from the owner.

  • Review all proposals and change orders and where needed, provide feedback and escalation for review.

  • Review the project schedule against the critical path and perform variance analyses to ensure impacts are minimized and the schedule is maintained.

  • Track projects costs and expenditures against the project budget and forecast costs to completion.

  • Provide accurate labor and material requirements and budgets.

  • Support the change management process in providing clarification and guidance on questions regarding scope, justification, and technical detail.
