Job Summary and Qualifications

To advance the HCA and Mountain Division (MTD) Patient Safety and Risk Program through the promotion of a culture of safety and implementation of strategies for the elimination of avoidable patient harm. These efforts include the standardization of demonstrated safety practices and the sharing of patient harm events for transparency and proactive risk assessments across the Mountain Division.

What qualifications you will need:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Healthcare related field required

• Master's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration or other Healthcare related field preferred

• Registered Nurse

• 5+ years of experience in a leadership role required

• 5+ years of healthcare experience in patient safety, risk, and/or quality in an acute care hospital setting required

• Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) must be obtained within 18 months of employment start date

• Certified Professional Health Risk Management (CPHRM) must be obtained within 18 months of employment start date
