Job Summary

The Donor Relations team in University Advancement is seeking a student worker to assist with donor stewardship, record-keeping, and other development-related projects. University Advancement consists of fundraisers and administrators who engage with donors and community members to advance the university’s mission. This position will report to the Associate Director of Naming Recognition & Compliance but may provide project support for all team members and their respective areas of gift agreements, stewardship, events, and marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Compiling and recording building naming recognition information

  • Data and record updates using Salesforce

  • Organize and track projects within project management system

  • Collating and mailing donor reports

  • Administrative tasks

  • Special projects as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Must be a current, enrolled undergraduate student at the University of Utah.

Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.

Preferences

Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Skills related to project management, operations management, data entry/analytics are a plus.

Students interested in pursuing a career in higher education, non-profit management, public administration, or fundraising/donor relations are encouraged to apply.
