Job Title: Cost Accountant/Consultant

Project Duration: 6 months

Job Responsibilities:

• Serving as a Cost Accountant specializing in complex and repetitive journal entries in manufacturing.

• Managing large amounts of data manually extracted from SAP and streamlining it into Excel Workbooks for further analysis.

• Detailed inspection of variances, purchase orders, and maintenance orders.

• Delivering comprehensive data analysis and entailing the management team with descriptive narratives about the variance patterns.

• Utilizing knowledge of complex production processes to support analytical objectives.

Note: This role demands a high level of analytical skills to deduce insightful narratives from raw data. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail and be able to handle manual data pulling and analysis like a pro. Previous experience in a similar role or environment would be highly beneficial.

Requirements

• Must possess extensive experience in Cost Accounting, particularly connected to the manufacturing sector.

• Should be adept at managing large data sets and performing data analytics. Familiarity with SAP will be an advantage.

• Proficiency in Excel, particularly in using Pivot Tables.

• Experience in producing detailed reports within a 4-5 hour timeframe.

• Ability to cope up with the rapid pace of daily soft closes.
