Industrial Security Manager/ COMSEC Account Manager

Position Overview:

L3Harris Broadband Communications Systems (BCS) is looking to fill a Manager, Industrial Security position to perform a variety of managerial and procedural tasks enacting the Salt Lake City sector Communications Security (COMSEC) program within the BCS industrial security organization.

The incumbent will perform primary duties as the Industrial Security COMSEC Manager, COMSEC Account Manager and Selective Availability Anti-Spoofing Modules (SAASM) account manager (SAM) per company policies, National Security Agency and cognizant U.S. Government agencies to ensure compliant accountability of all assets associated with holding a COMSEC and SAASM account. The incumbent will also be responsible for four exempt employees allocated as Alternate COMSEC Account managers to ensure proper handling of all product and processes associated with holding accounts in good standing with NSA and Government Agencies.

Essential Responsibilities:

Be responsible for the receipt, custody, issuing, safeguarding, accounting, and destruction of COMSEC and SAASM material and to maintain records and submit all required accounting reports in accordance with established policy and NSA regulations.

Supervise or conduct audits and inspections of all COMSEC, SAASM and CCI materials.

Conduct semiannual NSA inventory of all accountable materials in DIAS.

Implement comprehensive COMSEC training and briefings.

Manage electronic key management services (KMI).

Support of user services including cryptographic and physical security of COMSEC equipment.

Develop and maintain a Cryptographic Key Management Support Plan as part of the COMSEC Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).

Coordinates services between military customers and the National Security Agency.

Serves as the Selective Availability Anti-Spoofing Modules (SAASM) account manager (SAM) which includes compliant accountability of SAASM controlled items mandated by government regulatory policies.

Proficient in speaking, reading, writing, and comprehending English.

Ability to respond to security incidents or infractions at any time.

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree required AND 9 years directly related DoD experience. Interest/ experience in Communications Security a plus.

3 years with People Management experience. Manager, Supervisor, Lead, etc.

Current and active Secret, or higher, US Security clearance. Must be interested and eligible for a Top Secret clearance.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

Interest/ experience in Government Industrial Security pertaining to COMSEC

COMSEC Account Manager or COMSEC Custodian technical certification.

Graduate Degree with minimum 7 years prior related experience.

Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) knowledge and experience helpful.

Broad management and leadership knowledge to lead and manage functional team.

Strong administrative and problem solving skills.

Ability to operate in a fast paced dynamic environment.

Ability to respond to security incidents or infractions at any time.

Current Top Secret, or TS eligible, US Security clearance.
