Job Summary

Assist IT Department with office work such as: purchasing documentation, receiving, inventory, and data entry.

Assist IT Department with documented IT tasks such as: account provisioning and deprovisioning, data migrations, and workstation/operating system upgrades.

This position is considered Category I: Mandatory and required on campus or health care facilities to support on-site operations. Employees hired into this category will be required to be physically present at the work site if they are healthy and without COVID -19 symptoms.

Responsibilities

- Work in the field to locate IT hardware, update building maps, and update IT database.

- Follow Department procedures to provision and deprovision customer accounts and access.

- Follow Department procedures to upgrade workstations and operating systems while ensuring seamless transfer of customer data.

- Assist with documenting new purchases, receive incoming purchases, properly file paperwork, and update IT records.

- Be reliable and able to complete assigned tasks with limited supervision.

- Proficient and reliable in documenting their work.

- Demonstrate skill in organizing, managing time, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines for multiple tasks.

- Experience and working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.

Minimum Qualifications

Associate’s degree in a computer related field or equivalency (2 years related work experience may be substituted for 1 year of education). Two years of related experience preferred. Demonstrated computer skills, human relations and effective communication skills are required.

Preferences

- Experience with Directory Services such as Active Directory.

- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.

- Experience and working knowledge of Windows and Macintosh operating systems.
