Schedule: Monday - Friday (40 hrs/wk)8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Primary Purpose:

This position is responsible for gathering, analyzing and monitoring information with regard to client contracts and relationships. Provides ongoing reviews, value analysis, and audits of client accounts and contracts. Assists with the development of tactics to maintain optimal client relationship value. We are looking for someone with demonstrated experience in Tableau and SQL. Experience with analytics and financial analysis is a huge plus. This position will work closely with our RVP in sales to help drive revenue growth. Primary liaison for assigned sales regions, to assist in prequalifying sales opportunities with RM, evaluating / tracking upcoming pipeline.

Essential Functions:

Serves as project lead for all new client proposals, including prioritization of projects, establishing and/or reviewing timelines, addressing/resolving bottlenecks by managing deliverables from key resources and properly assessing effort requirements to ensure on-time / high-quality proposals.

Primary liaison for assigned sales regions, to assist in prequalifying sales leads, evaluating upcoming pipeline, and working with Market Research to gather insight around the opportunity and market.

Collaborates with Contract Management Lead to establish revenue and margin guidelines to help control overall revenue quality and customer value outcome.

Develops offers with Pricing Specialists and Proposal Writers to optimally target client’s needs while managing margin though fair pricing, appropriate contracted services and contracting terms.

Evaluates existing customer contracts for overall quality and performance. Works with Contract Management Lead to address issues and develop solutions with sales team to improve outcome. Reviews contract ramp-up and long term compliance.

Analyzes client relationship and revenue quality.

Analyzes mix/margin/spend of clients and prospective clients.

Analyzes client contract obligations (rebates, contract spend, etc.).

Works with contract administration to develop contract terms.

Assists with the development of tactics to improve suboptimal clients.

Acts as a liaison with AEs and RVPs to identify opportunities to optimize client value and profitability.

Other duties as assigned.

Physical and Other Requirements:

Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist.

Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.

Mobility: The person in this position needs to occasionally move between work sites and inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

Communicate: Frequently and effectively communicate with others.

PPE: Biohazard laboratory environment that requires use of personal protective equipment in accordance with CDC and OSHA regulations and company policies.

ARUP Policies and Procedures: To conduct self in compliance with all ARUP Policies and Procedures.

Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.

Fine Motor Control: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand as in handling.

Qualifications

Education

Required

  • Associates Degree or better

Preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree or better in Business

Experience

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree and one year of experience in pricing, offer development or financial analysis

  • Or Associate’s and three years of experience in pricing, offer development or financial analysis

  • Demonstrated work experience analyzing financial information or other data.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others in a team effort

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently

  • Demonstrated ability to consistently meet deadlines

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree with a focus in business, marketing, or economics

  • Experience in Pricing, Offer Development or Financial Analysis

  • Three years employment at ARUP

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel

  • Accounting/data analysis experience

  • Demonstrated work experience working with a relationship database
