The University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law invites applications from both entry-level and lateral candidates for one career-line faculty position, at the rank of assistant professor (clinical), associate professor (clinical), or professor (clinical) beginning academic year 2025-2026. The position provides multi-year appointments that may lead to a presumptively renewable five-year appointment. The successful candidate(s) will have a four-course teaching load including at least one section of our year-long (6-credit) first-year Legal Methods course and other course and program supervision responsibilities. Additional areas of curricular focus include upper-division writing and skills classes. Qualifications for the position include a record of excellence in legal practice, with a focus on strong writing and analytical skills, and successful teaching experience or potential as a teacher. Interest in scholarship will be considered but is not required for this position.
