L3Harris Accounting Senior Manager in Salt Lake City, Utah


Job Title – Accounting Senior Manager Job Location – Salt Lake City, UT Job ID – CS20211406-62782

Job Description:

  • Manages all aspects of and division coordination with General Ledger, Payroll, time reporting, and account reconciliations.

  • Interfaces with internal and external audits supporting responses to audit data requests for internal, external and select government audit requests.

  • Oversee and coordinate analysis and prepare monthly journal entries to ensure month end general ledger records and accompanying management reporting are accurate.

  • Participate in the Month End Close process, reporting, and accruals including analysis as required.

  • Manages all quarterly reporting required of general accounting.

  • Perform special projects as required.

  • Other duties as required.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting/finance or related field and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience or Graduate Degree in accounting/finance or related field and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

  • 10 years current corporate General Ledger experience or a CPA with three years experience.

  • 10 years experience with commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within Corporate Accounting/Finance.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Must be proficient with Excel – formulas, sums, settings, vLookup, pivot tables.

  • Must be proficient with MS Office – Word and Outlook specifically.

  • Knowledge of and experience in SAP is a plus.

  • Experience with revenue recognition is a plus

  • Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).

  • Must be proficient at communicating with all corporate levels, written and verbally.

  • Must be a self-starter and take personal responsibility for identifying and solving problems.
