SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
The Workforce System Coordinator role is to support the system of Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act partners operating throughout Local Area I and to assist center supervisors and leadership team in the coordination of daily operations of the KANSASWORKS Centers. This position will also be responsible for coordination and management of the Kansas WorkforceONE Laptop Library as well as performing administrative support within the administrative office of the LWDB and CEOB. This position will be formally supervised by Chief Elected Officials Board and report to the One-Stop and Operations Committee of the LWDB. Daily Functional Supervision by the Executive Director of the LWDB. The position is an hourly position.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate One-Stop Committee Meetings and Workforce System Training/Events.
- Support the Local Area Leadership team in the coordination of daily operations of the KANSASWORKS Center in LAI.
- Support the workforce system of partners to develop and maintain direct linkages between the partners of the Local Area I Workforce System and their shared customers both job seeker and employers.
- Prepare and deliver reports to the LWDB and CEOB as well as the various committees of the LWDB.
- Manage the Kansas WorkforceONE Laptop Library
- Provide administrative support of Kansas WorkforceONE programs and grants.
