Job Summary:

As a Divisional Leader of South Industrial Sheet Metal, you will have an active role in managing projects and coordinating the activities of fabricators and laser systems operators. The position covers both business development and financial resource management.

You will further develop South Industrial Sheet Metals strategy for project performance, open-book management implementation, define and oversee the annual budget and be accountable for the business performance to achieve growth ambitions.

Main tasks & responsibilities:

Determine how money will be spent to complete projects and account for expenditures.

Obtain and see to the appropriate use of equipment, facilities, and materials needed to do certain work.

Ensure compliance with necessary safety procedures

Motivate, develop, and direct people as they work.

Manage one\'s own time and the time of others.

Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement creative solutions.

Confer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.

Plan and establish work schedules and assignments.

Recommend or execute personnel actions, such as hirings, evaluations, or promotions.

Determine standards, budgets, production goals, and rates, based on company policies, equipment and labor availability, and workloads.

Recommend or implement measures to motivate employees and to improve performance, project quality, or efficiency.

Interpret specifications, blueprints, job orders, and company policies and procedures for workers.

Assist in resolving worker problems, complaints, or grievances.

Lead and drive the identification and creation of new business opportunities for growth.

Establish and oversee the annual budget in collaboration with the other divisions.

Oversee the timely development of projects.

Be accountable for the implementation and enforcement of company policies and procedures.

Set the objectives and review the performance.

Requirements:

Essential -

Experience of people management

Leadership skills, with the ability to inspire action and get the best out of people

Successful experience in leading a team and achieving results

Outstanding interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills

Action-oriented with a strong drive for success and impact

Familiar with using Microsoft Office Suite of programs

Knowledge of metal fabrication and materials

Desirable -

Entrepreneurial mindset

Strong financial and planning skills, with experience leading strategy and budgeting processes

Experience with CAD and reading blueprints

Familiar with manufacturing industry
