Aerotek Repair Assistant in Salem, Virginia
Repair Assistants will:
Perform basic assembly repairs according to the defect list from the validation audit.
Perform basic initial inspection of the truck and documents any unreported defects prior to starting any repairs.
Confirm and documents all performed repairs in the electronic repair system and verifies performed work with the audit team as applicable.
Perform minor electric troubleshooting/diagnostics as needed.
Ensure all repairs are compliant with the customer specifications and the work instructions.
Candidates will have:
Excellent attendance records.
Strong ability to follow processes and attention to detail.
Ability to work with little supervision and with limited team interaction.
Mechanical experience including basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
Previous experience in mechanical work (preferred)
Basic computer skills (required)
