ManpowerGroup Assembly Technician in Salem, Oregon
Our client, a leading manufacturer in the assembly industry, is seeking an Assembly Technician to join their team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be part of the production department supporting various teams in achieving operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Assembly Technician
Location: Salem, OR
Pay Range: $20/hr
What's the Job?
Assemble fabricated parts at floor stations according to product specifications.
Test parts and mechanisms to ensure they meet tolerances and product specifications.
Utilize hand tools and power tools to assemble units efficiently.
Identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and perform necessary repairs.
Work under immediate supervision, following established guidelines and instructions.
What's Needed?
A high school diploma or its equivalent.
No prior experience is required; a willingness to learn is essential.
Ability to lift items generally at or below 30 lbs. without significant repetitions.
Familiarity with commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in assembly.
Moderate exposure to machinery, chemical, biological, and physical risks is anticipated.
