Work Now Staffing Maintenance Technician and Process Lead in Saint Petersburg, Florida

Position Offered by No Fee Staffing Agency

Must have the following in order to apply:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of Five to Eight (5-8) years of experience in related field
  • Military training or journeyman's card may be considered in place of educational requirement
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Knowledge of computer hardware and software, including applications and programming such as Microsoft Office Business Suite, especially Excel
  • Must be PLC Certified
  • Must have knowledge of PLCs using Allen Bradley/GE/Emerson PLC platforms
  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public)
  • Must follow written and/or verbal instructions
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in electronics preferred

Job Description:

The maintenance department is responsible for the consistent output of quality product. The overall objective of this position is to ensure the plant and all machines are in full working order to support the product output.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Decrease operational costs by managing maintenance and trouble-shooting electronics support

  • Overall maintenance of the facility

    1. Responsible to identify parts and supplies needed for repairs and projects
    2. Program PLC's
    3. Use Extensive knowledge to troubleshoot electronics
    4. Ability to read schematics
  • Increase process efficiencies by accurately recording production from previous day and resolving issues

    1. Plan and prioritize projects
    2. Identify new sources for material
    3. Ensure all safety procedures
  • Other duties and assignments as needed

Days and Hours:

Pay:

$30.00 to $35.00 per hour; depends on experience.
