About the role:
As a Senior Software Engineer in our NetSuite AI team, you will be a driving force in accelerating AI adoption. You'll craft innovative solutions to extract business and customer insights by producing production-ready, scalable, and testable code. Collaborating with team members, you'll champion coding standards, foster technical discussions, and employ your expertise in large-scale system design. Dive into the realm of data science, NLP, generative AI, and time series forecast against business or operational data. You will take ownership of end-to-end systems and processes to swiftly address challenges to ensure the success of our valued customers.
Responsibilities:
Develop production-ready code for distributed ML & AI systems, adhering to robust software engineering principles and secure practices
Apply industry-leading AI & ML techniques to solve critical business problems
Drive sound design decisions and engineer scalable products for stakeholders and customers
Empower engineers with user-friendly web-based tools for prediction, correlation, and quality control for ML and AI systems
Take full ownership of processes, addressing errors promptly to ensure customer success
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
Proficiency or experience in applying AI and ML to solve business or operational challenges
Over 4 years of hands-on backend software engineering experience
Extensive experience (4+ years) in Java or other object-oriented programming languages
Proficiency in NOSQL databases and large data analytics.
Exceptional communication skills, adept at conveying technical and non-technical information effectively
Responsibilities
As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Hiring Range: from $74,800 to $178,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
