We are looking for an experience Financial Analyst with revenue forecasting experience to join our team! The Global Business Finance Organization is responsible for supporting the company’s executives and officers with financial and operational analysis to drive business decisions that contribute to the success and profitability of Oracle. The Senior Financial Analyst role is responsible for providing financial support and insights to the North America Application Consulting organization and reports directly to the Finance Manager. They will be a member of the finance team, partnering with the Sales and Business operations teams to provide business support to VP and GVP business leaders.

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to help the organization drive strategic business decisions. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong analytical skills and a track record of driving business performance.

As a member of Oracle’s finance organization, you will be responsible for providing all aspects of financial support to Consulting Org.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare insightful budget models, ensuring alignment with business strategy

  • Perform forecasting and analysis, with financial and operational metrics to provide data-driven insights and analytics

  • Conduct scenario analysis to assess potential impacts, identifying key drivers and risks/opportunities

  • Present financial insights to business leaders, highlighting key performance metrics and actions

  • Assist finance manager with consolidation, summary analysis, and presentation material for senior management meetings

  • Provide periodic and ad-hoc financial analyses and reporting with actionable insights

  • Build and maintain high-level knowledge across all business areas by staying current on initiatives, challenges, and opportunities across the business

  • Review quarterly results and provide commentary and variance explanations

  • Spearhead collaboration across the business support functions to streamline processes, improve operational efficiencies, and drive timely submissions

  • Leverage analytic technology and key data sources to enhance financial analysis

  • Lead special projects in automation efforts and implement best practices

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 5-7+ years of relevant experience

  • BA/BS degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience in financial modeling

  • Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in fast paced environment

  • Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple challenging priorities

  • Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally

  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with business partners and stakeholders to accomplish team goals

  • Innovative problem solving and effective decision-making skills

  • Ability to manage processes and identify cross-functional issues

  • Strong written/verbal communication skills

  • Knowledge of financial software and tools is a plus

Qualifications displayed in the job posting

Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. Strong spreadsheet skill and proficiency in Oracle Financials. Strong written and oral communication skill. Ability to work under tight deadlines. Self starter able to prioritize given responsibilities. 5-7+ years relevant work experience. BS/BA in Accounting/Finance preferred. CPA/MBA desired.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $70,600 to $141,300 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
