Volt Retail Strategy Manager in Saint Paul, Minnesota
Move Forward with Volt Volt is hiring for a Retail Strategy Manager in Kissimmee, FL. As a Retail Strategy Manager you will: drive the cross-category product strategies, site commercial and marketing relationships. Report to the Senior Manager of Merchandise Strategy. • Develop cross-category product strategies to support inclusive of major new initiatives, new build locations, celebrations and anniversaries, synergy, other domestic offerings as assigned. • Have a detailed knowledge of the cross-category product needs, guest and demography data and market trends to influence strategies. • In partnership with Planning and Location Strategy, coordinate the quarterly kick-off sessions and hindsight sessions with the Product Development teams. • Lead the relationships with Site-specific Commercial and Marketing teams to understand and capitalize on Site initiatives and to drive commercialization of merchandise-specific initiatives. • Lead relationships with Corporate Alliances and Operating Participants to improve the Park's value. • Work with the Franchise team to develop strategies to support key franchise and alliance initiatives. • Lead ongoing analysis of results, in season performance and trends to improve business results and support future decisions. • Develop strong relationships with cross-functional partners and bring partners along for the journey so communication and function is seamless in the product development lifecycle. This is a full-time 3-month hybrid (Monday-Thursday on-site, Fridays remote) 3-month contract opportunity. The ideal candidate must have: • 5+ years of dynamic experience in Merchandise or an analytical role. • Experience in Merchandising/Planning for vertical specialty retail environment. • Experience working with multiple partners in commercial, marketing, planning, buying, and visual merchandising. • Demonstrated ability to manage revenue creation while maintaining brand integrity. • Strategic problem solver with the ability to drive execution against a financial plan. • Demonstrated social skills and ability to influence a diverse audience including experience working with external partners and business owners. • The ability to build & cultivate partnerships across functions & departments within the company. • Well-developed Communication & Analytical skills. • Proven track record to think creatively and disruptively to bring and infuse new insights to the business. Required Education: Bachelors degree in Merchandising, Retail Management, Business or related.
