Aerotek Press Brake Operator in SAINT PAUL, Minnesota

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Setup Operator to join our team at our sheet metal fabrication job shop. Our shop specializes in numerous industries, including medical, aerospace, automotive, heating and cooling, and more. As a Press Brake Setup Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC Amada press brakes and working with materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel. Part of your role will also involve inspecting your own parts using inspection tools and working with bend allowances. Having the ability to read and understand blueprints and sketches is also crucial for this role. Experience operating Amada models CXBIII1030 and HDS1303MT is preferred but not necessary.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in SAINT PAUL, Minnesota.

Work Environment

Our shop is a large, well-organized space comprising of a tool making department, quality department, and production environment. We house numerous machines such as press brakes, punch presses, laser/turrets, and CNC machines. Although the environment can be loud at times due to the machinery, our team of roughly 300 employees works efficiently to maintain a smooth workflow. This position operates on a 1st shift schedule, from 7:00am-3:30pm.
