Description

We are seeking a Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in St Paul, Minnesota. This role offers a contract employment opportunity. As an HR Assistant, you will be part of a hybrid work environment, operating both onsite and remotely. This role is central to resolving conflicts, managing customer interactions, and maintaining organization with filing duties.

Responsibilities:

• Engage in conflict resolution and manage customer interactions to ensure a positive outcome

• Respond to queries and handle incoming calls from retirees

• Process and manage physical material packets and incoming mail

• Utilize HRMS and auditing skills to maintain accurate customer credit records

• Exercise organizational capabilities in sorting, filing, accessing, and discussing retirees' insurance information

• Demonstrate customer service skills in resolving queries and providing information

• Use your knowledge of Human Resources (HR) Administration to handle tasks related to HR and benefits functions

• Ensure smooth handling of inbound telephone calls and provide appropriate responses

• Leverage skills in conflict resolution to manage and resolve conflicts effectively

Requirements

• Proficient in using HRMS (Human Resource Management System) for managing employee data, payroll, benefits, and more

• Experience in auditing HR functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies

• Demonstrated knowledge of benefit functions including health insurance, retirement plans, and employee wellness programs

• Exceptional customer service skills, with a proven ability to handle inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner

• Strong organizational capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously

• Experience in handling credit files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of financial data

• Proven conflict resolution skills, with the ability to mediate disagreements and foster a positive work environment

• Comfortable with handling inbound telephone calls, providing information and assistance to callers
