Description Position Summary: The Field Safety Business Partner (FSBP) is responsible for leading the field initiatives in preventing, reducing, and eliminating at-risk safety concerns. The Field Safety Business Partner manages, creates, and conducts safety training and assists with the management of safety policies, procedures, and delivery of compliance and safety training in the field. The FSBP trains leaders in safety laws/requirements, hazardous conditions monitoring and safe equipment usage. The FSBP initiates and leads incident/accident investigations and root cause analyses, as well as prepares and distributes associated reports and metrics. The FSBP recommends training and process improvements based on observations and trend analyses. Day in the life: In a typical day, a Field Safety Business Partner can expect to... Safety and Environmental Management: Coordinate with various departments throughout the organization to ensure consistent policy enforcement and investigative transparency, along with providing high-level protection of all organizational assets, from property to people. Training and Education: Promote the highest quality of work and personal proficiencies through effective and innovative training. Keep apprised of new rules and regulations that affect GESMN operations. Assists in interpreting and applying the changes efficiently across the organization. Safety and Environmental Compliance: Assure the facilities are well-secured in all aspects and meet the standards set by OSHA, CARF, local and state government. Educate and ensure enforcement of policies and procedures. Job Pay & Perks: Typical starting pay: $78,000 - $85,000 salary Goodwill-Easter Seals Minnesota prioritizes work-life balance. About You: Required Knowledge & Skills: Accident investigation skills External/internal surveillance and investigative expertise Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking sills Strong training and coaching skills Strong conflict management skills Perseverance and commitment to getting the job done Ability and desire to provide excellent customer service Ability to interact with a very diverse population Strong verbal and written communications skills with the ability to facilitate creative presentations Proficient in various software applications including Windows, Microsoft Office products and using the internet Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation, as travel is required Prior Experience & Education: 3-5 years of relevant experience required in environmental health and safety. Proven ability to drive safety outcomes through field operational partnership. Experience supporting multiple sites strongly preferred. High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
