Sodexo is seeking a Full Time Registered Dietitian, to join their inpatient RD team at United Hospital in St. Paul. MN. United Hospital is the largest hospital in the Twin Cities East metro area serving over 200,000 patients and families annually.

In this role you will provide clinical nutrition support to a variety of patients within inpatient and critical care settings. This position will work full time days; including occasional weekends and holiday.

In this role, the successful applicant will:

• Provide nutrition care to patients in a variety of inpatient and critical care units;

• Have order writing privileges to practice at full dietetic scope;

• Provide education for healthcare team members, patients and family members;

• Participate quality improvement projects and initiatives as part of the clinical team;

• Precept dietetic interns at United Hospital.

• Registered Dietitian credentials and are licensed in Minnesota;

• Prior clinical experience in an acute care setting;

• Strong verbal and written communication skills;

• Good time management and organizational skills and are self-directed; and

• The ability to work well with multidisciplinary team including physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) (Note: For those seeking registration after 2023, this must be a master’s degree)

Credentials Requirement:

• Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire

• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
