Overview: This team supports our corporate "Win with Purpose" objectives by streamlining workflows and delivering exceptional customer service that consistently meets or exceeds expectations. This role involves gaining a deep understanding of the employer market and the products offered, with an emphasis on quick learning and adaptability to new systems and procedures. The ideal candidate is resourceful in resolving issues independently but knows when to seek assistance from others. Strong, service-oriented phone skills are essential. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Enter required data with a high degree of accuracy. This will include a variety of form types or electronic files such as but not limited to applications, evidence of insurability, status changes, salary changes, coverage corrections/changes, ownership changes, and withdrawal requests. On occasion, cross train and provide back up support to other teams during peak volumes. Use sound judgement and critical thinking skills to research and resolve problems that inhibit processing including program set up errors on customized plans. Follow up to obtain missing information needed for processing which may include producing customer focused correspondence or emails while sometimes utilizing templates, or place phone calls to our customers or clients. Support and respond to team Inbox. Fulfill and/or process customer and client requests and spreadsheets as assigned. Includes prioritizing work. Support Salesforce and complete service requests as assigned by the Enterprise Call Center (ECC) in a timely manner. This includes supporting the ECC IM Chat rotation. All tasks must adhere to department quality and security standards. Must be completed within service level obligations. Qualifications: Proficient in data entry with strong speed, accuracy and quality. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to apply good judgement, high attention to detail and effective time management. Strong customer focus and communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to navigate Microsoft Office programs, and adaptable to learning new systems and process with a focus on continuous improvement. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a positive and professional attitude. Willingness to assist others, be cross-trained, and work overtime during peak periods. If you're in a commutable distance (90 minutes) you'll join us 2-3 days each week in our offices to collaborate and build relationships. Our policy allows flexibility for the reality of business and personal schedules. When working in our offices at least two days per week isn't feasible (vacations, illness, travel, etc.), an eight day per month standard is an option. Physical Job Requirements: Ability to utilize the keyboard, computer and/or mouse for up to 8 hours per day. Ability to work at least 40 hours per week. Ability to utilize the phone and/or virtual meeting platform for 1-4 hours per day. Ability to perform simple grasping including handwriting, paper manipulation, sorting, folding, etc. occasionally throughout entire workday.
