Job Description Summary: The PayPal US Benefits team is seeking a Benefits Manager to own and build the next generation benefits administration member experience. This role will raise the bar on the end-to-end experience and will be accountable for managing program performance, building, inventing, and simplifying the experience for all PayPal employees. The Benefits Manager will report to the Sr. Director of Global Strategy and Operations. Job Description: Key responsibilities

  • Manage benefits administration, including relationships with brokers, vendors, and employees.
  • Manage appeals/exception/escalation process and document all decisions
  • Manage and oversee Annual Enrollment
  • Collaborate with Sr. Director to plan and communicate benefits strategies and offerings.
  • Responsible for benefit plan changes, health, and welfare plan administration
  • Manage onboarding and off boarding of employee benefits.
  • Reconcile monthly vendor invoices.
  • Collaborating with our Health, Benefits and Retirement Plan Managers
  • Lead ad hoc projects related to benefits operational delivery
  • Make recommendations to improve and streamline processes while ensuring quality standards are maintained
  • Keep current on internal and external trends, business challenges, and priorities and share with internal teams and health partners
  • Translate voice of customer data into strategic program management recommendations to enhance member experience
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects
  • Research external benchmarking to implement new benefit programs and evaluate effectiveness of existing plans and their ability to best meet the needs of PayPal members
  • Document end to end processes

Education and Experience Required:

  • 10-15+ years of Benefits administration and HRIS,
  • Experience managing benefit programs, .
  • Strong attention to detail and experience providing quality outcomes for our internal and external stakeholders
  • Technical aptitude and ability to learn multiple applications and HRIS, and extract data effectively from them
  • Project leadership and process improvement background
  • Demonstrated ability to use sound business judgement when collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Proven analytical skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Proven ability to execute processes accurately and on time
  • Possess an innovative approach to problem solving
  • Independently manage and provide direction to external partners
  • A deep commitment to excellent customer service, empathy, and discretion.
  • The ability to communicate across diverse groups with clear, approachable, and friendly style
  • Flexibility, resiliency, speed, and grace under pressure.
