Hello! We have a wonderful client offering a FULLY REMOTE Accounts Receivable and Collections specialist position. This position is available to Northeast Ohio residents only as you are required to pick up equipment from the client in Willoughby on your first day. Below are the requirements. ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION

• This position is responsible for credit and collections activities.
• This position Assist in billing, cash receipts and other accounting tasks as needed.

PRINCIPAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor A/R aging and customer accounts to minimize past due accounts.
• Perform Customer credit analysis as needed.
• Initiate collection calls, emails, faxes and letters.
• Work with Circulation and Advertising Managers on escalating collection actions.
• Distribute A/R aging reports and discuss issues with Circulation and Advertising Managers.
• Use and maintain A/R collections module in Circulation and Advertising System(s).
• Perform Customer revenue and A/R trend analysis.
• Other duties as assigned.

DECISION-MAKING RESPONSIBILITIES Ability to analyze and resolve problems with some supervision. Expected to take initiative to refine procedures, use tact and diplomacy in servicing the client and communicating with others and demonstrate ethical behavior. POSITION SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Accounting process and controls knowledge
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions (including process, policy and
• procedures manuals), correspondence and financial documents
• Able to write and organizing correspondence (generally in e-mail)
• Ability to hear, comprehend and speak clearly when communicating information and
• instructions in conversations with other employees and vendors.
• Demonstrated ability to create Excel spreadsheets using formulas as needed.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where
• only limited standardization exists
• Ability to apply common sense understanding and execution of instructions in written or
• oral form
• Strong analytical skills
