Job Overview

Position Schedule: Full-Time

The Team Leader of Mail Operations is an exciting opportunity to lead a multi campus team of associates in Support Services! You will be working with a diverse team to help develop, grow, and train individuals while also strategizing around the firm essential delivery of highly sensitive material.

General Responsibilities for the role are as follows:

  • Plan, direct, and manage the activities of a team of associates/contractors responsible for the operation, support, and implementation of Support Services (US Mail Operations)

  • Coordinate service delivery between Edward Jones and external vendor/service providers

  • Participate on cross-functional project teams

  • Establish and maintain effective communications and relationships within and across teams, business areas, and service providers/vendors

  • Work in partnership with other leaders to plan and execute the department business plan.

  • Align individual associate responsibilities and team activities with the department's business objectives.

  • Identify and execute operational improvements to business processes.

  • Ensure prudent use of the firm's financial resources.

  • Select, train, coach, develop, and motivate associates to achieve desired results.

  • Provide leadership and mentoring to associates through examples and timely feedback

  • Maintain knowledge of regulatory guidelines and firm policies and procedures to manage associates performance and service delivery.

The salary range for this role is based on national data and actual pay is based on skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors for a potential new associate:

Hiring Minimum: $59886

Hiring Maximum: $98752

Skills/Requirements

Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.

Minimum of three years of administrative services, mail, operations, fulfillment, or print experience with proficiency and demonstrated leadership responsibilities.

  • Highly effective change management skills, flexibility and ability to implement new processes.

  • Demonstrates ability to build and sustain productive working relationships.

  • Ability to lead, mentor, train and develop associates

  • Effective communication, organizational, time and project management skills

  • Problem solving and decision making skills

  • Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new information

  • Ability to establish controls and efficient workflows, guidelines, policies, and procedures
