Job Highlights:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Directs, plans, organizes and tracks progress of system operation initiatives. Develops and supports the implementation of new initiatives, partnerships, and transactions consistent with organizational decisions and engagement expectations. Acts as subject matter expert for identified operation initiatives.

  • Leads specific strategic initiatives as identified by system Operations leadership, including developing effective and positive relationships with multiple stakeholders assuring successful implementation including managing timelines, resources and deliverables.

  • Manages all modifications, amendments or expansion of partnerships, coordinating requests with key stakeholders, providing input into recommendations, and preparing presentation materials and documents with modification recommendations to senior leadership governance. Communicates outcomes to stakeholders and manages all approved modifications through internal SSM Health departments in development of modifications to implementation of approved contract amendments.

  • Collaborates with other members within the organization to ensure success throughout various stages of initiatives.

  • Gathers and maintains market-relevant data and knowledge about current initiative in comparison to projected organization needs to inform strategic initiative planning. Supports the data collection, analysis, and reporting aspects of initiative, to ensure a thorough understanding of the operating implication.

  • Identifies, monitors and interprets key metrics to determine potential modifications or expansion of initiative. Ensures any partnership initiatives are achieving contractual performance metrics. Provide reportable data to senior leadership through written and verbal presentations. Develops forecasts of short- and long-term initiative performance.

  • Partners with other leaders, internal and external, to ensure operation initiative accurately reflects the final terms of the agreed transaction and/or actions.

  • Acts as point of escalation for system and regional leadership in partnership initiatives. Manages resolution within parameters of contract expectations.

  • Provides data and other information for key deliverables such as presentations to System Leadership and others as needed.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field

EXPERIENCE

  • Seven years' experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.

  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.

  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.

  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.

  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry.

  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.

  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.

  • Rare climbing.

Job Summary:

This is NOT a remote position. This position will be located in St. Louis, MO.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

Supports system initiatives as assigned in cooperation of overall organizational operations. This includes full ownership and responsibility of assigned operation initiative, including participating in planning, research, partnerships, implementation, maintenance, and outcome reporting to senior leaders. Responsible for monitoring metrics and trends, and coordinating with key stakeholders to adjust any deviations from expected metrics. Partnership operation initiatives require relationship management, aggregation, accuracy and reporting of contractual performance metrics and management evaluation of modifications, amendments, or expansion of partnership. Manages modification requests with key stakeholders, prepares documentation for modifications or expansion to identified senior leadership governance committee with recommendations.
