The Senior Firm Strategy Analyst - Data Product Services is responsible for driving data as a product thinking to enable more associates to use more data for more use cases to drive more value for FAs and clients. This position will functionally manage a small senior group of contracted team members and report to the Director, Data Strategy & Enablement within Edward Jones's Digital, Data & Operations organization.

What You'll Do:

  • Identify needed data product requirements, commission their creation and codification, and train the company to apply and enforce them. Define the interplay of authoritative guidance on data elements and data products.

  • Design and implement an interdomain operating model. Establish business and data domain boundaries that capture all data used across the Firm and define how ownership is assigned for new sources. Establish, communicate and enable requirements for data supply chains and support each one as it progresses through its maturity stages, culminating in broad and continuous data sharing.

  • Work across our data domains to activate data as a product thinking and bring about the rapid expansion of highly-valued, highly-trusted and highly-used data products.

  • Set the vision and develop requirements for the Firm's data product marketplace, bringing it to life in partnership with Data Governance, Digital Product Management and Technology. Enable all data users to easily discover, understand, test, request and use data products.

The salary range for this role is based on national data and actual pay is based on skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors for a potential new associate:

Hiring Minimum: $113810

Hiring Maximum: $193785

Skills/Requirements

What Experience You'll Need:

  • A college degree, preferably in a business, data, finance, engineering or other technology major

  • At least 5 years of data- or product management-related experience, and preferably some of each

  • Demonstrated effectiveness managing a team in a project-based setting

  • Preference given to candidates with a Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) and/or a DAMA Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) certification
