SKILLED LABOR - ROOFING MECHANIC
MLK Construction is hiring full time construction workers to staff multiple upcoming projects. We are looking for workers with at least 1 year of experience in roofing with a verified business as well as general construction workers with advanced carpentry skills. Must be able to perform the tasks below consistently, without supervision and be able to complete independently to our customer's high workmanship expectations. For experienced roofers and carpenters only.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
Perform all duties assigned by the Construction Manager of Foreman
Must have own Power Tools
Crickets Fastening Patterns
Waterproof Install Tapered Insulation
Modified Bitumen Install
Safety setup Gutter/Downspout
Metal Installation
Certa Training
Tie Ins
Osha 10 Certification
Advanced Torching
Single Ply Install
Advanced Heat Welding
Install Flashing; Basic Metal Installation; Flash Penetrations Safety Monitoring
Insulation Installation; Hand Leister Basic Heat Welding; Operate Power Equipment
Basic Heat Torching; Adhesive Application; Install Roof Drains T Bar
Safety Setup; Operate Power-tools; Laying Material; Basic Material Handling
Use of Basic Hand Tools; Test equipment and machinery to ensure it is in good working order

Starting pay for this position is between $22-25per hour depending on experience and skill level and there is opportunity for advancement within MLK Construction.
