Additional Information About the Role
Full-Time Float Reg Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) to Float between locations.
As a Float - Medical Assistant , you will be a Full-Time BJC employee who Travels to provide coverage to multiple BJC MedGroup sites/locations in the preferred region of St. Charles County, O'Fallon (Hwy K & Progress West), Lake STL, St. Peters
Float MA’s are responsible for covering shifts of employees on PTO, Leave, vacation, sick, etc.
Flexibility and adaptability are needed as the Float MA will NOT have a home location. Float MA’s will be called every morning between 6:30am-7:30am to be informed on their assigned work location for the day.
Position Details:
Up to $2,500 SIGN On BONUS Eligible!!!!
Day Shift hours
CMA or RMA through (AAMA, AMT, NCCT, or NHA)
Must provide proof of MA Certification or Registration upon hiring
2 years of Medical Assistant experience Preferred
This position requires ability to travel between multiple locations
Mileage reimbursement
Float differential of $5/per hour!
Subject to travel outside of primary Region

Role Purpose
The Medical Assistant (MA) provides medical assistance under the direction of a physician or other licensed provider. This position performs select duties for the promotion of health in the care of patients and delivers care according to practice protocols and procedures.
Responsibilities
Cleans, prepares and stocks supplies in exam rooms.
Obtains vital signs, patient history and maintains accurate and prompt charting in the patient's record.
Performs clinical skills, such as phlebotomy, electrocardiography (EKGs), point-of-care testing and injections.
Triage calls, provide test and lab results to patients and present relevant information to provider with correct medical terminology.
