"Job#: 2045658 Job Description: Job Title: BI DeveloperDuties:As a BI Developer, you will leverage data warehousing technologies, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and reporting tools to create robust business intelligence solutions. Your work will empower organizations to analyze and interpret their data effectively.Responsibilities:Define business enhancement and reporting requirements, including baseline functionality and system enhancements.Plan, design, and develop innovative BI solutions using an enterprise data warehouse environment.Provide overall guidance for data quality and business reporting.Develop and document BI coding and naming standards, templates, and metadata.Offer technical and functional development of reporting solutions and data analysis.Optimize the BI environment to address business requirements by designing and creating tables, diagnosing and repairing user and performance issues, and testing, monitoring, and tuning software.Prepare training materials.Education:Degree in computer science, information technology, or another computer-based discipline.Role Overview:The BI Developer will automate reports and scorecards, build exception reports, and set up processes to create efficiencies for the team, enabling quicker report generation. The role involves leveraging the Power Platform Suite to replace Excel reporting and helping team members become more comfortable with these tools.Skills:PL-SQL:IntermediateExcel:Expert (Power Query, Power Pivot, Ability to interpret Macros (VBA), Power Automate)Power Platform:Expert (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps)Jira:IntermediateSolid problem-solving and decision-making skills.Ability to function with a degree of autonomy.Attention to detail.Comfort with data (interacting, analyzing, and modeling).Effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders.EEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
