Client Services, Inc. Senior Systems Administration VMware Citrix Windows Storage Security in Saint Charles, Missouri

Client Services, Inc is seeking to hire an experienced Systems Administrator to enhance our cross functional Network Services team. This is an excellent opportunity to be a leader in a varied array of technology. The candidate will have a primary responsibility for the planning, design, deployment and support for physical and virtual servers and desktops including operating systems, storage systems, security, and related networks services.

Minimum Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Associates degree with accompanied experience;
  • 3+ years installing maintaining, and supporting virtual systems; VMware, Citrix XenApp using Thin Clients
  • 5+ years working with Microsoft Windows desktop and servers
  • 3+ years working with Microsoft related systems such as SCCM, SCOM, Exchange, IIS, powershell
  • 3+ years' working with Linux/Unix systems; IBM AIX is a significant plus
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to solve complex problems
  • Strong understanding of security principles (PCI, ISO, NIST) in systems administration
  • Strong understanding of security principles, configurations, and monitoring
  • Detail oriented. Ability to interpret business requirements into technical specification.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A "Can Do" attitude, working in a fast paced environment; desire to work with others

Overall Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Installation, integration, upgrade and support hardware and software
  2. Performance tuning and monitoring of the performance of the network/server resources.
  3. Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures in order to protect data, software, and hardware in support of security frameworks such as PCI, ISO, NIST
  4. Build, maintain, and test disaster recovery capabilities
  5. Preparation and analysis of statistics on utilization, performance and availability.
  6. Communicate with vendors, clients, management, consultants and technology staff in systems design and problem solving.
  7. Support, train, and educate team members
  8. Provide tier-2, tier-3 support to Support Desk and end users
  9. Some night and weekend work. Minimal travel expected.

  • Virtual Systems: VMware V6, Citrix XenApp 7, 6.5

  • Storage Systems: IBM Storwize, Dell
  • Other Systems: SQL Server, Exchange, SharePoint, Active Directory, SCCM, SCOM
  • Other Systems: Tenable Security Center, Log Mgmt, Trend Micro AV, Forcepoint, Tippingpoint
  • Telephony: Avaya, Dialer, VOIP, SIP
