Procter & Gamble Associate Researcher for F&HC Technology Development in Saint Bernard, Ohio
Entry level for individuals who are inspired by hands-on experimentation and basic science, i.e., Procedural work. Onboards to P&G systems and performs the basic and critical experimental work of day-to-day applied research. Work is predominantly execution/procedural oriented, e.g., in a lab, in a plant or pilot plant (internal or external), at a clinical site, with consumers, and/or on a computer.
This Associate Researcher role in F&HC Strategy Innovation & Technology involves the evaluation for in-use performance in consumer goods under a variety of conditions to aid development of new molecules in Fabric Care products (e.g. Tide, Downy, etc.). The successful candidate will be part of a small team working on new technology approaches to address unmet consumer needs and/or resolve technical tensions.
High school degree / GED equivalent required. Associate Degree in Science (e.g. Chemistry, Biology, Technology, etc.) preferred. Interest and experience with the scientific method and lab work a must.
Ability to use software programs (e.g. Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, etc.) and ability to communicate with others and to work collaboratively in a small team is necessary.
