Nexteer Automotive Finance Co-Op 2023 in Saginaw, Michigan
The objective of the Student Programs at Nexteer Automotive is to select students with high potential and provide them with "real world" work experiences. Work assignments expose students to many of the company’s products, processes and procedures. Assignments are designed to assimilate acquired classroom education with actual hands-on work experience in a technical environment. In addition, Nexteer Automotive gains the opportunity to find new talent to enhance productivity while providing students exposure to full-time career opportunities.
MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is a rotating position. The individual filling this position at any given time may assist with:
Plant Finance Operations - Saginaw
Financial Planning and Analysis - Saginaw
Accounts Receivable – Saginaw
Business Line Financial Analysis – Saginaw
Fixed Assets – Saginaw
Corporate Tax – Saginaw
Prototype Center – Saginaw
Required skills:
Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Ability to work with cross functional, global teams
Ability to Multi-task and plan effectively
Highly developed oral and written communication skills
Establish understanding of internal and external applications
Excellent Microsoft Office skills
Develop and execute effective presentations
QUALIFICATIONS:
Job Requirements:
Pursuing Bachelor of Business in Finance or Accounting
Full time student at a 2-year college or 4-year university local to Saginaw
Ability to work 20 - 32 hours per week during Fall and Winter semesters
Ability to work up to 40 hours per week when school is not in session
Minimum cumulative GPA: 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
Must maintain full time credits (12 credit hours) during fall and winter semesters
Candidate must be able to work in the US without current or future sponsorship
