Job Information
Morley Companies, Inc Case File Analyst in Saginaw, Michigan
ABOUT THE ROLE
Location: Remote (Michigan residents) after initial on-site training
When things go wrong again and again with someone's vehicle, is there someone who can help make it right? Perhaps you!
As a Case File Analyst at Morley, you'll work from home, investigating customer / dealership claims related to vehicle warranties, repairs and safety concerns. You won't have any direct contact with customers, but your work will help a premier luxury auto manufacturer understand how to resolve those concerns.
You'll dig into the points and assess what the case qualifies for -- vehicle buyback, no buyback or goodwill remedy -- based on legal and business policies. You'll write up a recommendation along with evidence from your assessment that the OEM can use to take the appropriate next step.
Because of your detailed work, customers know that the OEM has taken their case seriously and can get a sense of resolution for issues they're experiencing.
What You'll Do
- Review a case file that includes all required documentation (technical reports, repair orders, etc.)
- Assess vehicle repair or warranty history to determine if the case complies with client / state / federal regulations
- (While having some knowledge of "Mag Moss" and/or state lemon law will get you going more quickly, we'll train you on the regulations and procedures you'll need to know.)
- Determine how the laws apply to the case
- Write up a "legal" recommendation and analysis advising the appropriate action needed to resolve the vehicle repair concern
- Follow specific procedures to keep information safe
- Participate in regular case management meetings
- Review and understand repair orders
- Identify patterns of cases
Remote After Initial Training
During the first couple of months, you'll attend 1-2 weeks of client-specific on-site training*, which is conducted as needed based on training required. Afterward, you'll work remotely.
You'll have a close relationship with a premier vehicle manufacturer and will be a part of Morley's reacquired vehicle management team. We make sure you stay connected and are always supported.
(*Note: We provide travel arrangements, lodging and cost reimbursement for these trips.)
