Job Title: Entry Level Administrative Claims Assistant
Job Description
This role entails performing moderately complex claim-related activities related to non-technical claims, adhering to established quality and timeliness standards on specific losses. The candidate will manage one or multiple claim files as directed by management, and is expected to provide compassionate, fast, fair, and easy service to ensure customer retention. Responsibilities include making and maintaining customer connections by understanding and meeting their needs, performing clerical duties such as data entry, filing, managing emails and calendars, handling claim files, supporting documentation processes, routing calls and correspondence, and assisting in training newer or less experienced employees. The role also involves assisting adjusters with more complex claim handling, analyzing documentation, and settling basic claims efficiently.
