Responsibilities

The incumbent's primary responsibilities involve supervision, development, training, and staffing for Nuclear Medicine; radiation safety program of the hospital; and practices for the service including supervision of the inventory, quality control procedures and use of radioactive materials at Mercy General in collaboration with the Radiation Safety Officer and the Medical Directors; inventory, maintenance and improvement projects for Nuclear Medicine equipment that will enhance the qualify and performance of the service. The incumbent is responsible for Nuclear Medicine technical operations in a manner that is consistent with efficient operation of the Service and the Mission and Philosophy of the Sisters of Mercy.

Qualifications

Required:

Licensed Nuclear Medicine Technologist - CT NMT

Preferred:

3 years experience as a practicing Nuclear Medicine Technologist and with an additional 2 years of supervisory experience

Pay Range

$51.66 - $74.91 /hour
