Job Description

Salary: $40-$50/hr

We are seeking a skilled Security Business/Data Analyst to join our team and contribute to their mission of safeguarding their industrial control systems and internal networks. This position is an exciting opportunity to support the information security section, learn more about public sector cybersecurityand information security, and grow within the security industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  Excel Expertise: Utilize advanced Excel skills for data analysis, including pivot tables, graphing, and data visualization.

  Power BI: Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights.

  Project Management & Coordination: Use Microsoft Teams for effective project management, coordination, and communication.

  Data Visualization: Present data insights clearly and effectively to stakeholders.

  Reporting: Generate comprehensive reports across multiple projects and provide detailed insights.

  Information Security: Apply knowledge of security controls, policies, and standards to ensure compliance and security.

  SharePoint Management: Manage intranet information sharing and updates on SharePoint.

  Security Awareness efforts: Launch security training for staff, developers, and control systems

Day-to-Day Activities:

  Manage the security awareness platform, including reports, data, charts, staff access, and information downloads.

  Produce quarterly phishing simulation results reports failures, success, repeat offenders.

  Support security assessments (e.g., take notes, update information, and set up meetings). October - February

  Lead project discussions

  Update intranet site, and manage Teams sites.

  Create and launch security awareness training course/modules, and ensure completion by due date. notify managers, and generate completion and overdue reports.

  Handle multiple tasks daily including responding to customer questions, performing research

  Assist in development of presentations including survey driven presentations, may be asked to do the presentation.

Remote Work:ptional 2 days remote days determined by the district), must be available onsite as needed.

Skills and Requirements

Qualifications:

 security Knowledge: Understanding of security threats, controls, policies, and standards, especially in industrial control systems.

Project Management: Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Adaptability: Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new team structures and processes. Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with security assessments and

Ability to analyze information and create tables and graph data, including quarterly phishing reports.

Experience in creating and updating security policies.

Knowledge of control systems, business system, and cloud systems and securing those systems.

Background in information and control systems security frameworks and controls null
