Actalent REMOTE - Pharmacy Technician in Sacramento, California

Leading healthcare company is looking for a certified pharmacy technician to join their team! REMOTE OPPORTUNITY!

REQUIREMENTS:

  • California pharmacy technician license OR national pharmacy technician license

  • Ability to work 8-hour shifts starting at 8am, 9am, or 10am Monday-Friday

  • HS diploma

Job description:

  • Approve/recommend denial for determination requests based on defined criteria.

  • Enter and document coverage determination request decision into the PBM/RXClaims system and notify providers and/or members

  • Refer coverage determination requests for specialty drugs to delegated vendor or client for processing

  • Contact providers for additional information to facilitate coverage determination reviews

  • Notify physicians, providers, and members of coverage determination decisions

Training:

  • New hires will be placed on a roadmap once training is completed.

  • They will need to meet expectations as they gradually increase expectations to 90% productivity (33-35 cases per day) at the end of the roadmap.

  • QA expectation at the end of roadmap is 95%

Skills:

Basic computer skills, Pharmacy Technician license, retail pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, mail order pharmacy
