Sutter Health Organizational Effectiveness and Change Management Specialist - Hybrid in Sacramento, California

Position Overview:

PPrepares for and supports organizational effectiveness and change management programs and solutions. Partners with consultants and other staff to design, develop, validate, modify and maintain program materials, process, reports, presentations and supportive tools. Delivers online or classroom presentations, demonstrations, workshops and training sessions for end-users and for train-the-trainer participants on a variety of topics related to organizational effectiveness and change management. Prepares workshops and facilitation events and sets up equipment, logistics, and supporting resources for in-person and virtual events. Acts as site administrator for the organizational effectiveness and change management SharePoint resource pages and Teams collaboration sites, including curating, uploading and organizing content (e.g., webinar links, articles, templates, tools, videos, and microlearning). Acts as site administrator for licensed change management portals and analytics sites. Co-delivers change management learning series and certification programs, and identifies continuous improvement in program content refinement. Co-administers and acts as producer for the Change Management Community of Practice. Utilizes collaboration and feedback tools in support of organizational effectiveness and change management programs and services, including Smartsheet, survey tools, online whiteboard tools, and the full Microsoft Office Suite. Creates PowerPoint presentations and process documents. Creates change analysis and plans, and works directly with other consultants to deliver change management outputs and outcomes, and service delivery excellence.

Job Description :

This is a hybrid role and candidate selected must live in the Northern California Sutter Health footprint. Candidate must be available to come on site for meetings, etc.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, psychology, healthcare management, human resources or organizational development or other related fields of study or equivalent education/experience.

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

2 years recent relevant experience

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE :

  • Strong oral presentation and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated understanding of talent and change management concepts.

  • Use basic English words and phrases to effectively and clearly organize and communicate thoughts, ideas and technical details in a concise manner easily understood by all audiences.

  • Effective presentation and facilitation skills with excellent ability to persuade others to accept a specific opinion or action, or to provide information and instruction.

  • Encourage individuals either in a one-to-one or small group situation in order to establish rapport and gain the trust of others or to listen perceptively and convey awareness.

  • Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with audiences across all areas and levels within Sutter Health as well as external organizations.

  • Foster a stimulating and accepting change environment resulting in leading others to solve complex problems.

  • Analyze information, problems, situations, practices, or procedures in order to identify patterns, tendencies, and relationships resulting in the formulation of logical and objective conclusions.

  • Set priorities which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities and prioritize assignments to complete work in a timely manner.

  • Focus on customer service that informs all actions and decisions.

  • Solid application of adult learning concepts and interpersonal skills designed to effectively manage classes and guide end-users to a formidable understanding of the subject matter.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Workday ERP.

Pay Range is $39.07 to $58.61 / hour

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
