A medical office manager oversees the daily operations of a medical facility. This includes managing staff, overseeing patient care, and ensuring the office is compliant with state and federal regulations. They are responsible for scheduling, payroll, patient relations, and maintaining medical records. They also handle budgeting and financial reporting, as well as implementing office policies and procedures. A medical office manager must also liaise with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and nurses, to ensure a high standard of patient care. Other duties may also involve ordering medical supplies or equipment, processing insurance claims, and managing marketing efforts for the office.
