Office Supervisor

Common Spirit Health at Home, in conjunction with Dignity Health, is seeking a remote Office Supervisor to manage the back office support for several of our home health and hospice agencies within Common Spirit Health. As the Supervisor, you’ll manage a team of Back Office Coordinators, who provide intake, scheduling and medical records functions for 10 home care and hospice agencies throughout California.


  • Oversees electronic process for documentation and record keeping to ensure smooth agency operations and minimize billing issues. Responsible for working and correcting agency billing and reimbursement issues including billing errors, adjustments, etc. Works closely with agency and Revenue Cycle to resolve issues in a timely manner.

  • Responsible for monitoring and evaluating office measures of performance. Develops and implements action plans based upon measurement results.

  • Coordinates with Manager Office Operations and assists in the completion of the weekly payroll process.

  • Responsible for the oversight of identifying and correcting agency billing and reimbursement issues including billing errors, adjustments, etc. Works closely with the agency and Revenue Cycle to resolve issues in a timely manner.

  • Monitors and evaluates office performance measures. Works with Manager, Office Operations to develop and follow through with action plans based upon measurement results.


  • One year of experience in managing the effective operation of office processes and systems.

  • Highly related office home health care experience may be substituted for supervisory experience.

  • Associates degree or Bachelor’s degree. In lieu of an Associate’s degree, an additional two years related experience will be considered.

  • Experience budgeting and managing financial performance.

  • Candidate must live in CA.
