Office Manager

Common Spirit Health at Home, in conjunction with Dignity Health, is seeking a remote Office Manager to manage the back office support for several of our home health and hospice agencies within Common Spirit Health. As the Manager, you’ll manage a team ofBack Office Coordinators, who provide intake, scheduling and medical records functions for 10 home care and hospice agencies throughout California.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for monitoring and evaluating office measures of performance. Develops and implements action plans based upon measurement results.

  • Coordinates payroll with appropriate personnel in assigned locations.

  • Responsible for the oversight of identifying and correcting agency billing and reimbursement issues including billing errors, adjustments, etc. Works closely with the agency and Revenue Cycle to resolve issues in a timely manner.

  • Responsible for monitoring and evaluating office measures of performance. Develops and implements action plans based upon measurement results.

  • Updates staff via orientation or in-service to updated organization procedures in conjunction with appropriate management in assigned locations.

  • Monitors all aspects of assigned positions workflow. Works closely with assigned staff and provides assistance as needed.

  • Troubleshoots the electronic process for documentation and record keeping to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

  • Two years of experience in managing the effective operation of office processes and systems for healthcare entities.

  • Highly related office home health care experience may be substituted for supervisory experience.

  • Associates degree or Bachelor’s degree. In lieu of an Associate’s degree, an additional two years related experience will be considered.

  • Experience budgeting and managing financial performance.

  • Candidate must live in California.
