We seek to hire a highly motivated Head of Finance and Performance Management (FPM) to drive strategic decision-making, change, and performance alongside business needs for the Rolling Stock business unit and the North American FPM vision and mission:

The role is to take comprehensive responsibility for all FPM-related tasks and topics concerning Mobility's most prominent business unit in North America and global business segment, Rolling Stock (>1bn USD annually), as a team leader of performance controllers, sparring partner of the CFO line, and point of contact for regional and global business unit (BU) partners.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.

  • Accurate and timely reporting of P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements alongside annual budgeting and monthly forecasting, meeting respective business needs

  • Monitor and analyze financial performance to proactively identify improvement and cost-saving opportunities.

  • Development of fact-based decision proposals and financial strategies

  • Preparation and presentation of financial reports to senior management and international partners

  • Collaborate across the organization, driving harmonization and digitalization of financial tools and processes.

  • Lead, manage, and coach an experience-controlling department focusing on diversity and talent management.

To thrive in this role, you have:

  • Master's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field; may be substituted with substantial years of working experience in a similar position(s)

  • 10+ years of working experience in a finance-related function, preferably controlling and commercial project management

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset and can-do mentality

  • Ability to effectively manage deadlines and prioritize in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities; builds constructive and effective relationships across organizations and hierarchies

This career is based in Sacramento, CA. We offer a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees, including PTO, 401k match, and tuition reimbursement. The base salary range for this position in Sacramento, CA, is $158,700-$214,700 and the annual incentive target is 15% of the base salary. The salary may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
