What You Will Do :
The Compensation Leader will be a key leader on the Global Total Rewards leadership team, providing input into the strategic compensation direction of the enterprise. The successful incumbent will lead a global compensation team and develop, manage, and improve operational and tactical programs and projects that align with our organizational goals. The leader will also set direction and deploy team resources on a strategic level to ensure our internal client needs are met.
Using expert level experience, will have expertise across a minimum of 4 of the following niche compensation specialties: broad based compensation, international remuneration, client partnership across all levels of the organization, sales compensation design and administration, short-term incentive design and administration, long-term incentive design and administration, executive compensation, and compensation communication/training/change management.
Other key aspects to this role include:
Engaging people manager who will manage individual contributors and supervisors/managers, as the team scales in size. Has full management responsibility including hiring, coaching, reviewing, and awarding employees.
Manages effective Compensation programs by keeping career framework current, using market data to ensure competitive position of base pay program, creating and modeling merit and other pay increases budgets, and providing oversight of all incentive programs.
Able to create, improve, and document processes, guidelines, and operational plans that have long term impact (5 years or more) based on sound logic, analysis, and interpretation.
Can easily translate strategic direction into operational plans that are executable and implement in timely manner.
Comfortable responding to unusual or new problems, ideas, and/or situations using logic and relationships to ensure a collaborative approach to problem solving.
Builds strong relationships with leaders, colleagues, and direct reports as a foundation in leading/solving for complex business needs.
Regularly influences business decisions and executes the strategies established by executive leadership.
Influences parties within and outside the Human Capital department on policies, practices, and procedures for the organization.
Develops team members to uncover and resolve highly complex issues, providing oversight and subject matter expertise
Creates workforce/staffing plans for compensation team.
What You Will Need :
Expert level Compensation knowledge and skills spanning niche specialties mentioned elsewhere within this job spec.
Expertise in translating theories, concepts, and principles into actionable results for the organization.
Must have 4-year degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience (Relevant experience may be substituted for formal education or advanced degree on a case-by-case basis)
What Would Be Nice To Have :
Experience working for private, public, and/or government preferred.
Workday familiarity a plus
Strong written skill, specifically constructing incentive and other compensation plan documentation.
The annual salary range for this position is $115,900.00-$202,800.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
