Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in Sacramento, California. This role is pivotal within our team, focusing on the management of financial records and the processing of financial transactions. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting functions, including account coding, and be familiar with accounting software systems.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of bookkeeping for the organization

• Utilize accounting software systems for data entry and management

• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and ensure timely and accurate payment processing

• Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy

• Utilize ADP - Financial Services for payroll processing and financial management

• Employ Concur for travel and expense management

• Implement ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for business process management

• Perform account coding for all financial transactions

• Oversee accrual accounting to ensure financial statements are up-to-date

• Manage Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions for electronic payments and collections. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding and Accrual Accounting

• Experience with Accounting Software Systems and Automated Clearing House (ACH)

• Knowledge of Accounting Functions and Accounts Payable (AP)

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services and Concur

• Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Proven experience in Auditing

• Ability to handle full charge bookkeeping duties efficiently and accurately

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred

• Certified Bookkeeper designation is a plus.
