Twining Consulting Construction Project Engineer/Project Manager in Sacramento, California
Twining Consulting, an innovative engineering, testing, and inspection Company, is seeking a California Licensed Professional Engineer/Project Manager for its Sacramento office. This position will involve both technical engineering assignments and project management. Responsibilities include:
- Engineering Technical Manager of the Northern California area.
- Responsible for overseeing all DSA and HCAI Accreditations and project related items.
- Single point of contact and responsible individual for all the aspects of projects.
- Provide directions and technical assistance to field personnel.
- Oversee Special inspections on structural steel, reinforced concrete, structural masonry, structural Wood.
- Oversee Field and laboratory construction materials testing services.
- Review of field and laboratory reports.
- Documentation and handling of nonconformance items.
- Billing and budget management.
- Provide as needed assistance with collections to projects that are managed.
- Communication with all project teams and periodic/consistent site visits
- Ability to estimate preferred.
Required Competencies:
- BSCE preferred.
- California P.E. License is preferred.
- 5 Years of construction management on civil/geotechnical engineering experience.
- Strong background on structural special inspections.
- Experience with overseeing materials testing and structural inspections highly desirable.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate clearly with coworkers, clients and potential clients.
- Ability to maintain company established utilization goals.
