As an Accounting Assistant, you'll be instrumental in supporting the delivery of top-notch services to the Registered Agent business, all under the guidance of the NA Financial Controller. Your weekly tasks will include managing the accounting system, processing accounts payable and general ledger, and assisting with banking activities—keeping everything running smoothly and efficiently.

When month-end rolls around, you'll take the lead in consolidating local accounting data into the parent company's general ledger and handling the all-important bank reconciliation. And as the local subject matter expert in the accounting integration program, you'll be a go-to resource for critical insights and support.

Responsibilities for this Accounting Assistant role include:

1. Accounts Payable

• a. Issue accounts payable checks

• b. Reconcile AP Subledger to General ledger

• c. Post cash receipts and make deposits.

• d. Summarize and prepare cash receipts entry

• e. Work with account representatives to issue business registration checks to state of California

2. Bank Reconciliations – prepare monthly bank reconciliations

3. Maintain the QuickBooks GL and produce month-end reports for Fusion consolidation

4. Assist with AP / GL integration to Oracle

5. Reconciliation for Galaxy billing application to monthly journals

6. Reconciliation of Merchants accounts

Qualifications for this Accounting Assistant role include:

Required:

· Experience with setting up and using QuickBooks

· Able to explain accounting concepts and controls to impacted non-accounting colleagues

· Flexibility for month-end

· Experience of working in a matrix structure and of communicating across a broad spectrum of stakeholders

Preferred:

· 2 year Associate Degree in Accounting or Equivalent Experience

· Experience with using Oracle Fusion (preferred)

Pay Details: $26.00 to $28.00 per hour
