Note: The pay rate for this job is $50 - $55 /hour

Responsibilities:

• Installing solar panels - working all aspects of the project from wiring to actual installation of the solar PV modules including motor controllers.

• Knowledge of solar materials, including modules, inverters, and monitoring systems.

• AC/DC wiring and string wire.

• Proficiency in electrical and switch gear wiring.

• Panel/LV work Layout, bend, thread and install conduit.

• Pull and terminate aluminum direct bury wire.

• Perform electrical testing and commissioning.

• Comprehend / adhere to company policy safe work practices.

 Qualifications:

• Be at least 18+ years of age

• Current/Active Maine Journeyman License

• Certification or a willingness to obtain it

• Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation

• Prior experience in the solar field required

• Prior experience using preferred

• Position may require a drug screen
