Description We are in search of an Accounting Specialist to join our team in S. Burlington, Vermont. This role is critical in our Accounting team, with a focus on managing accounts receivable and payable, handling invoicing and billing, and operating accounting software systems. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain accounting software systems to ensure accurate financial records

• Manage accounts receivable by accurately recording incoming payments and resolving any discrepancies

• Oversee accounts payable, including processing payments and reconciling invoices

• Carry out invoicing and billing tasks, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and on time

• Utilize ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems to streamline and enhance accounting functions

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary

• Maintain accurate customer credit records and resolve customer inquiries promptly

• Perform billing functions, ensuring all procedures comply with our internal policies and regulatory requirements. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential.

• Must be familiar with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning.

• Demonstrated ability to handle Accounting Functions efficiently.

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) management.

• Must be skilled in managing Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Should have a thorough understanding of Billing Functions.
