Description and Requirements

As a Deal Desk Analyst in our Solutions & Services Group, you will support our sales, pre-sales, and delivery teams to govern sales processes and execute complex deals. Your key responsibility is to ensure process adherence through strong analysis and insights from pre-qualification to delivery handover. Success in this role requires collaboration with various stakeholders, attention to detail, and experience in a pre-sales bid and proposal environment.

Responsibilities

Deal Triage & Pre-Qualification

  • Review and ensure data accuracy for incoming deals during pre-qualification.

  • Route deals to relevant teams for further qualification and assessment.

Deal Governance

  • Advocate and ensure adherence to governance structures across all sales motions.

  • Develop and maintain Deal Desk tools and templates.

  • Schedule and manage all gate reviews throughout the deal flow.

  • Maintain a compliant deal approval process.

  • Conduct regular audits to monitor compliance and drive improvements.

Pipeline Analysis & Insights

  • Generate and analyze metrics, reports, and dashboards on deal performance.

  • Monitor and track pipeline, win/loss ratios, revenue split, and other KPIs.

  • Provide data-driven recommendations and collaborate with stakeholders to implement solutions.

Utilization Monitoring

  • Support project setup in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for resource assignment and time tracking.

  • Facilitate regular board reviews for pipeline and staffing levels.

  • Enable regular utilization and bid budget performance reporting.

Qualifications

  • 3-8 years of relevant experience in IT and business.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field. MBA is a plus.

  • Experience in deal desk, sales operations, or a related role within a services organization.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power BI, and Codata.

  • Experience in bid and proposal management; APMP Foundation Certification is an advantage.
